On January 13, ValueAct Holdings sold 703,000 shares of Seagate Technology PLC (STX) for $ 42 million at an average price of $ 60.24 per share. ValueAct Holdings’ interest in Seagate Technology PLC decreased to approximately 3.7 million shares with the transaction. ValueAct Holdings first purchased shares of Seagate Technology PLC in the second quarter of 2016. Other investors that also reduced their Seagate Technology PLC shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Citigroup (NYSE 🙂 and T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund. In contrast, Eaton Vance (NYSE 🙂 Management, NWQ Investment Management Co., and Parnassus Investments added STX shares, while Millennium Management introduced STX shares into their portfolio.
