WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he is developing a plan that will encourage competition in the pharmaceutical industry and lower drug prices as the House leadership unveiled a new health care plan.

“I’m working on a new system where there will be competition in the pharmaceutical industry. Prices for the American people will go down a lot!” Trump said in a Twitter post.
