Investing.com – The Saudi Arabian Stock Market closed lower Thursday; losses in sectors, and, drove indices lower. At the close in Saudi Arabia, the drop was down 0.18%. The best performers of the session on the was Baazeem Trading Co (SE :), which rose 6.60% or 6.80 points to settle at 109.80 at the close. Meanwhile, City Cement Co (SE 🙂 advanced 5.89%, 1.55 points, to close at 27.85 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE :), which rose 5.00%, 5.80 points , until dismissing the session at 121.80. The worst performer of the session was Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE :), which fell 5.76%, or 7.00 points, to trade at 114.60 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE :), for its part, cut 2.75%, 1.20 points, to close at 42.45 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE 🙂 fell 2.70%, 1.35 points , until ending at 48.65. The declining shares outnumbered those that were advancing on the Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange by 119 to 74 and 10 ended unchanged. Baazeem Trading Co (SE 🙂 shares rose to record highs; increasing 6.60% or 6.80 to 109.80. Crude oil for February delivery fell 0.68%, or 0.36, to $ 52.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in the commodities trade, Brent oil for March delivery fell 1.05% or 0.59 to $ 55.47 a barrel, while the February gold futures contract fell 0.57% or 10.60 to trade at $ 1,844.30 a troy ounce. EUR / SAR was down 0.25% at 4.5490, while USD / SAR was up 0.01% at 3.7516. US Dollar Index futures were up 0.16% to 90.483.
