WASHINGTON (Reuters) – House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday that President Donald Trump is playing a constructive role in new healthcare legislation and helping bridge the gap between Republicans in Congress.
“This president is getting deeply involved,” Ryan told a news conference. “He is helping to close the gaps in our conference. He is a constructive force helping us reach a resolution so that we can reach consensus on how to repeal and replace Obamacare.”
