RBS Partners reduces stake in AutoNation By Investing.com

On January 8, RBS (LON 🙂 Partners sold 99,000 shares of AutoNation (NYSE 🙂 for $ 7.6 million at an average price of $ 76.71 per share. Shares of AutoNation are up 2.89% since the transaction. RBS Partners’ stake in AutoNation decreased to approximately 2 million shares with the transaction. RBS Partners first purchased AutoNation shares in the first quarter of 2001. Other investors who also reduced their AutoNation shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Citigroup (NYSE 🙂 and Investec Asset Management. Unlike RBS Partners, Bridgewater Associates, Millennium Management and Victory Capital Management added shares of AN, while Capital Growth Management and Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management introduced shares of AN into their portfolio.
