Investing.com – Israel Stock Exchange closed higher on Monday; gains in, and sectors drove indices higher. At the close in Tel Aviv, 1.00% added. The best performers of the session on the was Harel (TASE :), with a rise of 5.42% or 156 points, to settle at 3036 at the close. They are followed by Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE :), which advanced 4.42%, 178 points, to close at 4205, and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE :), which rose 3.88%, 298 points, until dismissing the session at 7987. The worst performer of the session was Amot Investments Ltd (TASE :), which fell 1.45%, 26 points, to trade in 1771 at the close. Nova (TASE :), for its part, cut 0.36%, 100 points, to close at 27400 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE 🙂 lost 0.25%, 0.8 points, to finish at 324 , 8. Rising shares outnumbered those that fell on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 283 to 155 and 17 ended unchanged. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE 🙂 shares rose to 52-week highs; up 4.42% or 178 to 4205. Crude oil for March delivery rose 1.66% or 0.99 to $ 60.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in the commodity trade, Brent oil for April delivery rose 1.89% or 1.18 to $ 63.61 a barrel, while the April gold futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.40 to trade at $ 1,819.80 a troy ounce. USD / ILS was down 0.23% to 3.2426, while EUR / ILS was down 0.11% to 3.9341. The US dollar futures index was down 0.16% to 90.328.
