Golf legend Greg Norman is launching his former property on the exclusive island of Jupiter for sale. He and his wife, hotel design expert Kirsten “Kiki” Norman, who have owned the property for approximately three decades, have decided to put the house on the market for a hefty $ 59.9 million.

The expansive space on Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound has been completely rebuilt and includes a main house, pool house, and beach house, with extensive updates to all other elements of the property. Norman showed off the newly built pool house on his Instagram account. Jill Hertzberg of Coldwell Banker Realty’s The Jills Zeder Group and Michelle Thomson of Coldwell Banker Realty’s Thomson team represent the sellers. Known as Tranquility, the expanse covers a total of nearly 32,000 square feet and stretches from the ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway. The main house exudes a modern tropical feel, with yacht-inspired details, and includes a berth that can support a 150-foot yacht. The couple bought the home in 1991 for just under $ 5 million. Norman put the original house on the market in 2007 and tried to sell it for nearly a decade. In 2016, the couple finally decided to renovate and expand it. Now they are ready to try to sell the trophy property. “Greg and Kiki Norman feel like it’s time to move on, after 30 years of enjoying this beautiful home,” says Hertzberg. The next owner will enjoy a true tropical paradise.

“Having grown up on the beach in the tropics of Australia, my search for the perfect property in America that would allow me to incorporate all my needs, from privacy, security, a dock for my boats and direct access to the beach and ocean, was I fulfilled when I was lucky enough to meet ‘Tranquility’ in 1991, ”Greg Norman announced in a press release. “It is a mixture of everything that I love in life and about life. The new construction of our main house under the passionate and professional gaze of my wife, Kiki, only elevated the entire property to another level. ”Kiki Norman adds that her design direction focused on satisfying a lifestyle of“ barefoot elegance ” She said in a statement: “My vision was to create a sanctuary, a place where it felt like we were on permanent vacation, and a gathering place for friends and family. The basis of my design was an open floor plan. , maximizing the light and the views of the coast from all aspects. ” Located on 8.31 acres and built to entertain and welcome visitors, the living space incorporates 10 bedrooms, 12 baths, and six half baths. The oceanfront grounds include 172 feet of oceanfront and 370 feet of oceanfront on the Intracoastal Waterway. “This farm is a true peaceful escape,” says Hertzberg. “The property not only offers all the amenities of a high-end resort in one location, but it also provides the right amount of privacy and space. “Also, it is very rare to find a property that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal, offering panoramic views of the water, as well as intracoastal and ocean access for boating enthusiasts.” The main house, a completely new structure built by the Normans, is filled with luxurious amenities, such as a 1,900-bottle wine cellar, an entertainment space, a bar, a catering area and a movie theater. The first floor features two bedrooms, a trophy room and gallery, a family room, living room with fireplace, main bar, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a deck overlooking the water. The home also includes a formal dining room and a gourmet kitchen. Upstairs offers a large terrace, an en-suite bedroom, a study, double offices, double bathrooms, a living room and a small kitchen. Other buildings on the property include a two bedroom carport, new pool house with grill and outdoor shower. A tennis house with a bar, entertainment area and bathroom adjoins the tennis court. A two-bedroom beach house sits by the ocean, and the boathouse can store sports equipment. The three-bedroom carport includes a gym, full kitchen, and equipment storage, and could be used as guest accommodation or office space. A permit has been issued for an additional building, in case a buyer wishes to expand the many structures that already exist. Greg Norman, a 65-year-old businessman, is a retired professional golfer who spent 331 weeks as the world number one in his sport. Kiki Norman is the founder of Norman Design Group. The new listing will be released just as the couple’s massive Colorado ranch, which traded for $ 55 million in 2016, finally found a buyer.
