Investing.com – The French Stock Exchange closed higher on Thursday; gains in, and sectors drove indices higher. At the close in Paris, the index gained 0.30%, while the index gained 0.42%. The worst performers were Virbac SA (PA 🙂 which fell 4.67% to 204.00 in the last session, TechnipFMC PLC (PA 🙂 which lost 3.12% to 9.69 and Gaztransport et Technigaz SA (PA 🙂 which was down 2.70% to 86.60 at the close. Rising shares outnumbered those that fell on the Paris Stock Exchange by 342 to 245 and 83 ended unchanged. Peugeot SA (PA 🙂 shares rose to 52-week highs; up to 3.28% or 0.73 to 23.00. Mcphy Energy (PA 🙂 shares rose to record highs; increasing 5.89% or 2.20 to 39.55. The, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged at 0% at 18.96, a new 1-month low.
