WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Representative Andriano Espaillat said on Thursday that he had tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the fourth member of Congress to announce they had contracted the new coronavirus following a mob attack on the U.S. Capitol. United States last week. “I am following my doctor’s guidance and I am in home quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19,” he wrote on Twitter.
