Here’s what healthcare professionals need to know about the BP gas rebate.
The BP gas discount is available for first responders, doctors, nurses and hospital workers. The discount may them 50 cents per gallon at the next filling on a BP-Amaco or gas station. Healthcare professionals who want a discount only need to verify their identity on ID.me. After doing so, they receive a code that they can use for the BP discount. To use this code, they have to press Cancel, enter the code, press Enter and then swipe their payment method when they get gas. These steps may vary depending on the pumps. The discount also works in the store by pressing the loyalty ID button on the PIN code. It is worth pointing out that this code is only a single use, so workers want to load when they use it. Healthcare professionals have from April 2 until April 30 to get their codes and then to June 30, 2020 to use them. The BP discount codes will also be available until $ 1 million per cent per gallon is reached. BP encourages social media users to spread the word by sharing the site bp.com/localheroes. They can also use the hashtag #bpsupportslocalheroes to make healthcare professionals aware of the BP gas rebate.
