This menu doesn’t have to be much of a secret after all.

Colorado fans of iconic California chain In-N-Out Burger waited on epic lines on Friday as the state’s first two outlets open.

In Aurora, police were called in to control the crowds as cars and customers meandered around the new fast food restaurant and an adjacent mall. Customers have told the local ABC affiliate they had waited almost 14 hours to get their burgers, fries and shakes.

“It’s official, the traffic is double, double animal right now all around the mall,” Aurora police tweeted, using some of the cult channel’s jargon. “We are on hand to help manage the massive traffic response.” A later message has warned against a delay of 12 hours and another said the queue “that wrapped twice around the mall.” They estimated the line to be between 1.5 and 2 miles.
